BPI-01: PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

OBJECTIVE 2: Learn how to navigate to multiple waypoints using Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN) radios
OBJECTIVE 3: Learn the difference between slant range and horizontal ranges
OBJECTIVE 4: Learn the difference between overflight vs. course line navigation and how to calculate and execute lead turns

PASS/FAIL CRITERIA

All waypoints must be overflown within 2 miles

Must arrive at target within + or - 10 seconds

Must perform CASE III Recovery in entirety with push time within + or - 30 seconds

Must successfully trap aboard carrier
